Launching every Friday at 5 PM, I’m Rich, You’re Poor, which Shabaz co-hosts with his best friend Sofia, promises to be a go-to for fans of sharp commentary, outrageous confessions, and the occasional jaw-dropping opinion.
Over the last few years, Blackburn-based chemistry teacher Shabaz has become a viral sensation across Instagram and TikTok, entertaining his millions of followers with his sharp wit and biting commentary on the absurdities of influencer culture. With a following of 1.7 million on Instagram, 3.9 million on TikTok and content generating more than 100 million likes, Shabaz is celebrated for his both satirical and hilarious takedowns of those flaunting their curated, luxurious lives online.
Now for the first time ever, audiences can enjoy listening to him on his own podcast I’m Rich, You’re Poor. Each week Shabaz and Sofia will dive into the latest in pop culture, celebrity gossip, and social media absurdities - bringing fans so much more of what they love. Expect plenty of unfiltered takes and laugh-out-loud moments from the duo as they entertain listeners with a weekly dose of humour, wrapped in reality.
